You must receive a 70% pass before you attend the course. You will also need to fill out online forms for registration, PAR Q and informed consent forms.

ONLINE COURSE: You will be given access to the online Boxology® book when you book a course. There are short multiple choice questions after each technical video chapter to see if you understood the technique, and there is an 20 multiple choice test at the end of the course. You will also have to submit a few videos of you teaching skills for assessment before you receive your CPD points.

I was taught how to teach boxing as part of my fitness/gym course, why should I do Boxology® Academy courses?

Most providers will include a basic class or a ‘bolt on’ on how to hold pads. But, if you want to hold boxing pads effectively and teach your client to box like a Pro, you need to invest in learning the art of boxing comprehensively. You have to invest time in continuous personal development and correct boxing coaching cannot be learned in a few hours of basic pad work, boxing is a complex art with many skills and techniques involved. Boxology® also teaches you to teach boxing safely so you do not injure your client/boxer. If you are going to coach boxing, you should have as many skills up your sleeve as possible, Boxology® offers this extensive training.

Does the Boxology® Academy teach you to only teach one on one personal training?

No, Boxology® Round 2 teaches you how to teach a group class and how to get the best out of varying levels that may attend.

Are the courses just about boxing technique?

No, Boxology® Academy has written books that complement the courses with extensive information on anatomy and physiology, joint strength, central nervous system, energy system, warm up and cool downs, learning styles of individuals, how to be a good coach, mental exercises, periodisation of boxing programs and the history of boxing. Before you attend the courses, you will be required to read the book, so the two day courses will concentrate on the practical elements only, to hone your skills as a coach as best as possible.

How long are the courses?

Boxology® Round 1, Boxology® Round 2 and Boxology® Round 3 are all two days courses. Each day will be eight hours and that will give you CPD points. There will be a maximum of 10 on each course with two instructors, Boxology® prefers small groups as a more personal and individual style, in our opinion is more effective.

The ONLINE courses are done at your own pace.
